Apple Release New iMac
Today Apple have released the brand new iMac. This has been a much anticipated release not only in the design industry but throughout all associated technological communities. I’m not as lucky as some to be able to test this machine but I will give you my first impressions.
Upon opening my email app this morning I found various emails, but its only one that really catches my eye. Apple have now issued for release the brand new iMac (with the ultimate all-in-one display). As much as I was interested in the various technological advances I was really interested in how they could have made an already great design even better.

Design
Design is something I hold close to me and perhaps I am a little biased but I can not remember the last badly designed product apple produced and some how I had a feeling that this would be no different with simplistic design at its best.
The Display
The sleek new display is now delivered with maximum effect as is spreads right across the iMac frame allowing full viewing pleasure which will be great when it comes to website design“>website design. It is also now available with 2 (what I would call odd) sizes, the 21.5 inch and 27 inch display. The 21.5 inch display holds a resolution of 1920-by-1080, which is HD and the 27 inch display exceeds HD with a massive 2560-by-1440 resolution. With the latest backlighting LED technology you will be provided with an even lit screen that takes full advantage of high quality visuals.
Mouse and Keyboard
Not only are improvements made to the iMac itself but the mouse has seen a complete overhaul which in my opinion looks great. Each iMac comes with a wireless mouse and keyboard as standard with slim and stylish aesthetics. One new feature which really excites me is the touch sensitive mouse which works similar to the Macbook touch pad and the iPhone screen, allowing easy swipe movements to control features on screen.

Technology
The technology behind the iMac itself has improved further but even more consideration has been given to environmental issues. The development and use of the product itself shows Apple’s commitment to global warming.
A few key features that are most noticeable include:
- Improved Storage of up to 2tb
- Increased memory up to 16gb
- Better CPU – Dual core and Quad core
- & New Graphic Processors
Conclusion
To really get a better understanding of Apple’s new iMac I highly recommend taking a look at the introductory video and browsing the website to view the new features. Honestly, I know I am a little biased towards Apple and I have not taken the product for a test ride, however I am extremely excited by the continuing improvements Apple are making to all their products. Just sometimes I wish the updates weren’t always as regular and drastic, because it’s costing me a great deal to stay up to date with the vast improvements….. but nevermind!
